Speaking From Experience - Money Box Tapes

I mentioned earlier that I was having troubles with the tapes on the money box.
I tried to use super glue to stick them on to the box but the glue was brittle and snapped off quite easily.
I thought I had it sorted out until one day the tapes just fell off again.
So to beat this issue, I decided that I could sew them on to the box so that they couldn't come off.

I used a hand drill to drill 12 holes through the box and then 6 corresponding holes in each tape (The tapes were really solid through after I soaked them in super glue).
I used doubled up thread to make the stitches stronger and went through all the holes several times to make sure the bond could withstand enough force.
