Speaking from Experience

After experimenting with the style of illustration I have decided to go ahead and use it for the final products. I have started to create some different kinds of instructions for reasons to save money. I want to create a few of these reasons and make them a mixture of funny instructions and more realistic ones.

The above example shows the man at the beginning but this time he is some deformed zombie guy.
By using the money box properly and saving some money he is miraculously transformed back into a normal person again. I'm trying to use humour to make the product light hearted and maybe relate to the audience a bit better. Anyway, the instructions say what they need to; Using the box makes good things happen.

In this example the man is imagining himself as being poor and maybe homeless. After using the money box and saving some money for the future he can now imagine himself exactly as he is.

Something about the colours used makes the images look really busy but I'm not sure what. I think it could be to do with the intensity of colour because the plain illustrator file seems to be more appealing to look at.
