Illustrations

These are my final illustrations for the packaging. They have simply been done with a fineliner pen on A3 paper. I wanted to make the illustrations fairly detailed but stick to black and white colouring without and grey for shading or anything so I decided to use the hatching lines for shading as you can see underneath. I think that the hatching gives a good representation of shadow and works to make the images look more detailed which makes them in turn a bit more impressive to look at. 

I decided to do 5 drawings to make 5 different packaging designs for a bit more of a range but I have done 6 illustrations so that I have one in hand if needed for something else. 

I think for the final designs I will vectorise the drawings in illustrator so that they fit in better with the type and solid colours used in illustrator.
