D&AD North Lecture 3 - GBH are 12

The brief was to design a poster for the upcoming D&AD North third lecture based around the advertising design company GBH. It could be any format but had to include a bit of information which was specified in the brief.

I wanted to work in a simple, clean style consistent with past D&AD posters and the whole kind of contemporary graphic design feel that goes along with the brand.

I experimented with a few different layouts and colour variations and settled on this design below for the final submission. I'm not really that happy with the design; although it has all the information and technically does the job, I think it came out as being kind of uninteresting. As it was only a couple of hours designing time I guess I shouldn't be so hard on myself.
