Baseball posters - Baseball Magazine

In these variations and screenshots you can see how I am trying to make the posters resemble the Baseball magazine covers of the 50's to try and bring another level of baseball connotation to the posters. I don;t think these worked that sucessfully, as the red and black don;t work that well together for readability and they kind of jar against each other. The mostly black and white poster designs work a lot better but don;t relate as well to the magazine. I might try and take this in a different direction.
