Comic Brief: Illustrational Development

I also developed the idea of working with the possible illustrative route for the cover designs. I started with this quick comic-styled illustration of the stories' main protagonist.

Next I used this as a kind of template and drew the same guy a few different times with a couple of different styles and pens. 

I liked these simple illustrations but in terms of a book cover I'm not really sure how they would fit. They don't particularly relate to anything to do with the comic series besides showing the main character. I will try to work with a different idea for an illustrative approach.
