Baseball - Type

next I wanted to work with the type for the Baseball brief. The current Say Anything type logo is really simple and looks like this:

The previous one is a bit more interesting and a bit more script-like, but still might not be appropriate and looked like this:

It kinda changes between albums, so I wanted to change it to make it fit more with the release of this album. I started by coming up with a few different ideas for type, before settling on trying to create a look that was a bit like the script based type used on old baseball jerseys. In this way, it relates to the past a bit (Because it was their first album, being re-released now) and it also relates directly to baseball and might help enforce the idea of not needed to say the album's name.

Then I took it into illustrator to create a vectored version and settled on the design below:
