To finalise the mailshot I printed it out on the recycled paper. I had to use the laser printers to produce this as I had troubles with the waxiness of the paper on the inkjet printers. The ink doesn't seem to settle on the paper and bleeds out and smudges and never really sticks which creates a really pixelated effect and looks like a really low resolution image. See the printing of 'poster 2' to see the effects.
I made some slight changes to the mailshot design to make it work a bit better, including a bird on the cover, a work on the inside pullout and some more information under the flickbook.
I think that the quality still came out quite well all things considered. I would like to have printed it slightly better quality so maybe I could find a different recycled stock to use.
After putting it all together I used a tungsten light with umbrella setup and DSLR to photograph the mailshot as cleanly as possible.
